Project Manager, Sr.

We are looking for a Sr Project Manager to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location. Salary: $113,900.00 - $189,800.00 per year. This salary range is a general guideline only for a position based in PA. Candidate qualifications, experience, scope, market, and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer. Responsibilities Leads and executes mid‑sized projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Collaborates with diverse teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget. Key Challenges Defines, launches, and drives mission‑critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways. Creates a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc. May be responsible for project management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting. Responsible for acquiring follow‑on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals. Manages, coordinates and controls Project Work Plan execution to achieve project technical, cost and schedule objectives. Efficiently works toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints. Leads the project team and holds regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward project objectives. Maintains effective customer communications, ensuring that all customer requirements and expectations are addressed effectively. Addresses and resolves project issues pertaining to scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost, customer interface and other project activities. Communicates project progress, issues, and resolution options to project team members, customers and management. Reviews and controls project cost, including the coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates. Develops and monitors the Project Risk Management Plan as part of project planning and execution. Interacts with sourcing and suppliers to plan for and secure the materials needed for the project and future production. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent with appropriate coursework. 7+ years of project management or project leadership experience. Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills. Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures. Project Management Professional certification preferred. Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
