Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Spencerport, NY area. Two full-time positions are available, with immediate start dates and contracts continuing until permanent staff are hired. SLPs will contribute to the success of students at either Wheatland-Chili TJ Connor Elementary (serving elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder) or Wheatland-Chili Jr/Sr High (working with high school students with intellectual disabilities).

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid SLP license in New York State
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ communication needs within a school environment
• Develop and provide tailored therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals
• Document progress, complete necessary reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Assignment Details:

• Full-time contracts; Monday through Friday
• Hours to be determined based on assignment
• Role A: Elementary ASD caseload
• Role B: High school intellectual disabilities caseload
• Start ASAP and maintain vital services while permanent staff are recruited
