Availability Requirements: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays.

Position Summary

As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes with precision, consistency, and speed. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring all food meets our standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and execute menu items to accurately estimate and prepare food requirements
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including soups, meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam food items according to recipes and standards
• Season and present food to ensure consistency with quality expectations
• Monitor food quality through tasting, smelling, and visual inspection
• Plate and garnish dishes to meet presentation standards
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as needed to support overall operations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout shifts and at closing
• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and management
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen leadership

Qualifications & Skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to quality, consistency, and cleanliness

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred

13 months of related kitchen experience, or equivalent training

Certifications

ServSafe Certification required (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds (and up to 10 pounds regularly)

Ability to use hands, reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions

Must have adequate vision, hearing, and sense of taste/smell for food preparation
