Smartlogisticsgroup is seeking an OTR CDL-A (CDL class A) truck driver to operate dry van freight across the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast. This position is for a solo CDL-A truck driver operating under a 1099 arrangement. The role is OTR (over‑the‑road) with multi‑week home time and is optimized for drivers seeking consistent miles in modern equipment.

• Compensation: $0.65–$0.70 CPM (all miles paid). Average weekly miles: 2,500–3,000+. Average weekly pay: $2,000–$3,600. Weekly direct deposit.
• Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 total ($500 after 2 weeks, $1,500 after 4 months).
• Additional Pay & Allowances: Layover and detention paid; empty miles paid; travel expenses covered (flight, hotel, transport).
• Referral Bonus: $800 for box truck drivers; $1,000 for dry van drivers.
• Home Time: Minimum 2–3 weeks OTR between home periods.

Equipment:

• 2023–2026 Freightliner Cascadia
• Automatic transmission
• Truck features: APUs, refrigerator, microwave, inverter
• No inward‑facing cameras
• Dry van – no touch freight; live loads

Area of Operation: Midwest, Southeast, Northeast (OTR).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tractor‑trailer equipment safely and in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS).
• Execute assigned OTR dry van deliveries, adhere to schedules and customer requirements, and manage live load procedures when applicable.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and follow routing and safety instructions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A (CDL‑A) license and authorization to operate commercial motor vehicles in the United States.
• Prior experience operating OTR dry van equipment preferred.
• Professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
