The Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining strong relationships, and promoting the company’s products and services. This position involves a deep understanding of the market, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Revenue Generation:

• Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities by developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve Syracuse Banana Wholesale's business goals.
• Negotiate and close deals that meet or exceed sales targets.
• Drive sustainable growth through strategic account acquisition and optimized pricing strategies.

Market Research and Analysis :

• Identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Establish KPIs and report to sales and executive teams.

Sales Strategy Implementation

• Work with the Sales Director to establish short- and long-term objectives.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives by identifying customers’ needs and offering solutions.
• Monitor, analyze, and report growth goals.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience selling food products.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Excellent ability to manage and build relationships
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals
• Advanced skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating
• Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in ProducePro is highly desired
