Material Lab Technician

Material Lab Technician East Hartford, CT | Contract | $22.50-$27.50/hr. Lab technician to fabricate polymer composites and adhesively bonded test samples, perform lab tests and organize and communicate test data and results. The candidate must possess exceptional technical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with testing and characterization techniques for polymer composites, adhesives, and elastomers is preferred. Required Education, Experience, and Skills US citizenship is required due to program requirements. Our client requires that candidates must be able to obtain DoD Security Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Associate degree in science or technology or related field, or significant credits already taken toward associate degree. Ability to work with lab equipment to fabricate polymer composite and adhesively bonded test samples, perform lab tests and characterization, organize and communicate test data and results. 1 year of experience.
