PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor - Hybrid Working (Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) Salary: £39,500 - £41,000 per annum + OTE up to £47,150 Contract: Permanent, full-time Location: Durham Join Medacs Healthcare as a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor Are you an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise? As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑hands‑on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing. The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long‑term stability and a healthier work-life balance.
