Senior Project Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join an established healthcare organization for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is HYBRID (mostly WFH but candidates should be able to commute to greater Philadelphia and Princeton, NJ area occasionally/as-needed. *Please only apply if you are currently located within commutable range*

*Experience working in a healthcare provider environment (hospital or similar) is required.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

• Responsible for overseeing multiple programs and projects, managing the full project lifecycle.
• Ensuring successful integration of new systems with existing clinical, administrative, and financial operations.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across various operational functions.

Qualifications of the Senior Project Manager:

• 7+ years of project management experience with experience managing software / healthcare system projects.
• Must have experience working in a healthcare provider environment.
  • Experience managing ambulatory projects and experience in revenue cycle management
  • Experience managing projects related to EMR/EHR (Epic experience preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise in program and project management disciplines within a complex Information Systems environment.
• Experience evaluating, developing, and implementing custom and packaged software projects.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations and systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with applications development, database management, and operating systems.
• Proficient in creating project artifacts such as work breakdown structures, test plans, and go-live strategies.
• Strong business analysis skills, including business and functional requirements development.

Compensation for the Senior Project Manager:

• Hourly Rate: $70-$80/hour (depending on experience)
