Student Services Coordinator

Student Services Coordinator | Med College Med College is seeking a motivated and student-focused Student Services Coordinator to join our Education Department. The Student Services Coordinator plays an important role in supporting students throughout their academic journey—from orientation through graduation and beyond. This position works closely with students, faculty, staff, and administration to promote student success, engagement, retention, career readiness, and an overall positive student experience. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized academic guidance, program support, and student assistance. Monitor student progress and help identify resources and solutions to support retention and success. Assist students with enrollment, registration, academic policies, and navigating institutional resources. Support career development through resume assistance, LinkedIn guidance, interview preparation, and career exploration. Build relationships with employers and community partners to support internships, networking, and employment opportunities. Coordinate student activities and events, including orientations, career fairs, professional development workshops, and graduations. Serve as a liaison between students and institutional departments to ensure effective communication and timely support. Gather and evaluate student feedback to help improve services and the overall student experience. Assist with accreditation, compliance, reporting, recordkeeping, and other student services initiatives. Provide administrative and operational support for student-related programs, events, and institutional activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, humanities, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Experience in student services, academic advising, or a related area within higher education. Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally. Familiarity with student information systems and career counseling resources. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to student success and creating an inclusive and supportive environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish. This position may require local travel, participation in occasional evening or weekend activities, and assistance with on-campus and off-campus student events.
