Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Santa Monica, California. This is a 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour days, and travel. Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 10 hours days Employment type: Travel As an Oncology RN, you will provide top‑level care for cancer patients. Under direction from a physician you may administer chemotherapy, implement new symptom‑treatment methods, and monitor patients' progress. You will educate patients about treatment options and procedures. Tasks Coordinate treatment plans Provide patient education and treatment tracking Be a reliable source of comfort and support for patients and families Attend to a great number of details while working under pressure Implement best practice treatment protocols in a variety of settings Physical requirements Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Must be able to lift 20 pounds easily and may need to lift up to 50 pounds. Hazard potential from chemicals and infectious diseases.
