Job Details: Location: Grand Junction, CO Wage: $20/hour + $50/day Per Diem Schedule: Seasonal | Full-Time | Monday–Thursday/Friday (Weather Permitting) Start Date: 05/04/2026 (Start Date Flexible) Industry: Oil & Gas Vegetation Management Who We Are Looking For: Are you looking for a summer job that pays well and is unique? PMG Vegetation is hiring hardworking individuals who enjoy physical and outdoor work and are comfortable navigating various types of terrain. This seasonal position runs from April/May through mid-August 2026 and is ideal for those with farming, ranching, construction, or other outdoor labor experience. The right candidates will be able to handle physically demanding tasks, work efficiently in small crews, and follow instructions to complete vegetation management tasks. Previous physical labor experience is required. What You'll Do: Walk through large properties and apply herbicides using a backpack spray system to control noxious weeds Work in various terrains, including rocky, steep, and uneven landscapes Mix and load herbicides in proper amounts for accurate application Work independently and in a small crew to meet daily production goals Follow work orders and instructions to ensure vegetation is managed properly Keep simple but accurate records of herbicide applications Occasionally, travel to job sites outside the immediate area as needed What You Need to Apply: Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license Previous physical labor experience is required Able to stay in company-provided hotels for four nights a week in Rifle, CO Experience in farming, ranching, construction, or other outdoor labor is preferred Physically able to carry a 50 lb. backpack sprayer for extended periods Able to work in the heat, cold, and other tough weather conditions Able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and move around as needed to complete tasks Able to work long shifts on your feet and maintain a steady work pace What We Offer: Starting pay: $20.00 per hour Bi-weekly pay schedule License and certification reimbursements Bonus opportunities Three-day weekends (weather permitting) Who We Are: PMG Vegetation specializes in commercial, large-scale vegetation management across multiple industries.
