Leveraged Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Leveraged Finance Associate to join its team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have a focus on fund finance and private credit transactions, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. This role involves working with lead arrangers, direct lenders, sub line lenders, NAV lenders, borrowers, issuers, and corporates. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts. Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative strategies. Participate in high-level legal activities such as trials and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Engage in professional development and firm initiatives. Requirements Minimum of four years of experience in leveraged finance. Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent research and analytical abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Education JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina. Skills Excellent organizational and management skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
