Being a Domino’s Delivery Driver isn’t an average pizza delivery gig; many team members began their careers as delivery drivers and progress to franchise ownership, general management and other roles. Requirements At least 18 years old Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills Valid driver’s license Reliable vehicle with proof of car insurance and a safe driving record meeting company standards Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings Job Duties Operate all equipment Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler Prepare product Receive and process telephone orders Take inventory and complete associated paperwork Clean equipment and facility approximately daily Communication Skills Comprehend and give correct written instructions Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person Essential Functions and Skills Accurately and quickly perform basic arithmetic; calculator may be used Make correct monetary change Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders Motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen Work Conditions Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas Sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside Fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts Physical Requirements Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift Must stand, walk short distances, lift up to 50 pounds, carry up to 30 pounds, push up to 7.5 pounds, and perform occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching Use hands continuously for eye‑hand coordination, shaping pizza dough, and performing other hand tasks #J-18808-Ljbffr Domino's
