This includes helping mechanics diagnose problems and prioritize work properly ensuring performance of equipment and that it meets Tyson and D.O.T standards in addition to monitoring parts that are installed on vehicles and those that need to be ordered. Other responsibilities include: completing shop work orders and calculating labor time on completion of job; scheduling P.M. maintenance with dispatchers or division managers; ensuring all licenses and permits are installed; creating and maintaining the consignment program; holding monthly safety meetings; other duties as assigned.**REQUIREMENTS:****Education:** Special knowledge in a particular field such as accounting data processing or electronics normally acquired through two years of college vocational or technical school training resulting in an Associate's degree or equivalent.**Experience:** 1 plus years' experience.**Computer Skills:** Basic computer skills.**Communication Skills:** Good written and verbal communication skills.**Supervisory:** Supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities.**Travel:** 1 to 5 trips per year.**Relocation Assistance Eligible:**Yes**Work Shift:**D Shift (United States of America)**Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
