Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a skilled School Psychologist to join a supportive school community in the Brockton, MA area. This role offers the opportunity to work with students across grade levels, helping to identify educational needs, support student achievement, and promote positive learning outcomes.
Job Details
- Position: School Psychologist
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Employment Type: Contract
- Hours: 32.5-35 Hours per Week
- Start: Current School Year
- Location: Brockton, MA Area
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct initial and triennial evaluations
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments
- Develop evaluation reports and present findings to educational teams
- Support the special education process through eligibility and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop student support strategies
- Provide behavioral and social-emotional recommendations
- Monitor student progress and assist with intervention planning
- Maintain compliant and accurate documentation
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist Credential
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- School-based experience preferred
