Substitute Transportation Aide

We are always seeking to add to our School Transportation team: Substitute Transportation Aides (no driving involved) - especially Thursday and Fridays Long-term and per diem (by the day) assignments available Flexible days 4-5 hours per day Request a tour of the bus garage today

Performance Responsibilities:

• To be sure all students are secure in their seatbelts/wheelchairs
• Aides help the Bus Driver maintain a clean bus for everyone
• Maintaining good student conduct on the bus
• Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion
• Other job-related duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor

Certification/License: All positions - Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education

Education: GED or Highschool diploma

Experience: No experience is required but working with young and special needs students is helpful.
