Details for the position are as follows: Research Scientist – Multiple Myeloma, Translational Medicine Location: Santa Monica, CA – Hybrid role Pay Rate: $40-$47.36/hr Duration: 1 year contract with high chance of extension Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Description The Research Scientist will support biomarker and translational medicine strategy for CAR-T clinical development in Multiple Myeloma. This role will work at the intersection of Research and Clinical Development, supporting pharmacology, biomarker strategy, clinical trial execution, translational analyses, and regulatory submissions. Direct and establish PK/PD analyses supporting clinical pharmacology for CAR-T clinical trials in Multiple Myeloma. Serve as Biomarker Lead on clinical study teams and oversee pharmacology data and documentation for pivotal and registrational studies. Review and contribute to clinical protocols and clinical study activities. Support CRO selection, method transfer, and clinical biomarker operations. Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Clinical Data Management, Biometrics/Statistics, Bioinformatics, and Translational Medicine teams. Lead resolution of clinical pharmacology and translational queries from regulatory agencies and support regulatory responses. Prepare data packages for publications, presentations, and regulatory submissions. Support exploratory biomarker and correlative studies focused on tumor biology and CAR-T functionality. Contribute to external scientific collaborations, publications, and interactions with key opinion leaders. Apply translational and mechanistic data to support early- and late-stage drug development. Education MD, PharmD, or PhD with 3+ years of industry experience; OR Master’s degree with 5+ years of scientific experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of scientific experience. PhD in Biology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, Bioinformatics, or closely related field preferred.
