The MDS department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance.This position is located onsite in Woburn, MA. What you will do:You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation. Some specific responsibilities include:Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirementsIdentifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutionsDefining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performancePresenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customersProviding subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirementsBasic qualifications:Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experienceThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications we prefer:Minimum of 10+ years of experience in field of engineering or related technical disciplineExperience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniquesExperience with developing, documenting and maintaining processes, methods and toolsProven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issuesExperience working with Matlab, C/C++, Java or DOORSStrong analytic, technical and problem-solving skillsExperience with MS Office SuiteExperience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architectureExperience with radar system concepts; detection, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performanceExperience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performanceExperience and interest in Information Assurance/Cyber Engineering requirements, determination, development and implementationExperience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancementPrevious military serviceExcellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needsAnalytic, technical and problem-solving skillsActive DoD Secret Clearance or greaterMaster’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related disciplineWhat we offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
