Game Manager

LOCATION: Mountain Ridge Middle QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma Required. Teacher Certification Preferred. REPORTS TO: Principal/Athletic Director RESPONSIBILITY: To assist the athletic director/principal in setting up and supervising athletic contests during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

- Welcome game officials and escort them to their dressing room before and after the
contest and at halftime. Pay officials by check when they arrive at the contest site.
- Welcome opponents to the school and escort them to their locker room. Give
- Meet security and position security for crowd control. Keep in contact with security
- Monitor crowd during contest and take appropriate actions to maintain crowd control.
- Monitor and position the following support personnel: announcer, clock operator,
scorekeeper, chain crew, medical/ambulance personnel, parking, etc.
- Arrive at least one and one-half hours before contest is to begin (unless otherwise
secured the area, field/courts are secured, and janitors have begun clean up.
- Assume other duties assigned by the principal and/or athletic director.
