About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of General Liability Claims to provide strategic leadership and direction for its claims organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's claims strategy, establishing an effective structure, and developing and enforcing internal policies and procedures. This role requires a customer-centric approach, a focus on operational efficiencies, and a commitment to fostering innovation. The VP will also be tasked with talent acquisition, continuous improvement, and ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Collaboration with product and engineering teams to identify technology and process improvements is a key aspect of the role. Applicants for the Vice President of General Liability Claims position at the company should be data-obsessed, strategic thinkers, and collaborative leaders. The role demands a resilient, results-driven individual with a proven track record in claims management, particularly in the general liability sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years' experience in P&C claims, with a strong background in all types of general liability claims. Extensive knowledge of commercial and residential premises, bar and restaurant, construction, and other related claims is essential. The VP will also be expected to have strong litigation management skills, a deep understanding of coverage and contracts, and the ability to synthesize data to drive results. Experience in a fast-paced environment, a JD is a plus, and a demonstrated ability to enhance organizational efficiency and manage a large claims team are required.
