Wound Care Nurse

Horsham Center for Jewish Life - Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking an experienced and dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse who is passionate about providing quality resident care while supporting and leading a nursing team. Position Details Full-time, salaried position Monday–Friday schedule Leadership role within our nursing department Focus on wound assessment, treatment, prevention, and ongoing monitoring Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and treat wounds and skin conditions. Develop and maintain individualized wound care plans. Monitor residents’ progress and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate clinical team members. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of wound care and treatments. Provide education and guidance to nursing staff regarding wound prevention and treatment. Support quality-improvement initiatives related to wound care and skin integrity. Promote the highest standards of compassionate, resident-centered care. Qualifications Current Pennsylvania nursing license in good standing required. Previous wound care experience preferred. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
