Registered Nurse - Med/Surg UnitThis is a 13-week contract position.Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00); Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a Med/Surg setting, focusing on adult and geriatric patients. The responsibilities include managing various medical conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities include:Access and manage ports, administer blood products, and provide colostomy care.Perform central line blood draws and manage feeding tubes.Maintain isolation precautions and manage medications, including insulin and heparin.Cares for patients with bowel obstructions and assists with surgical drains.Provide telemetry monitoring and respond to rapid response/codes as necessary.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Active PA or Compact RN license required.Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred.Experience with the Cerner charting system is preferred.Flu vaccine required; exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
