Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.**Your Responsibilities:*** Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications to enhance manufacturing processes, focusing on Oracle APEX technologies or similar* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to gather requirements and implement technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and productivity under supervision* Support the integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other systems critical to manufacturing operations* Help troubleshoot issues related to system performance, data integrity, and process control as part of a guided problem-solving process* Write, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code with assistance from senior team members**What you Bring:*** Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens* Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals* 5+ years’ experience or education equivalent in software development preferably within the manufacturing industry* Basic understanding of relational databases including familiarity with SQL.* Experience working within Agile environments.* Exposure to Teamcenter PLM, Power BI* Familiarity with version control systems**Who we are:**Our ValuesEnvironmental, Social and GovernanceWith a long track record of reliable, technologically superior designs and global resources, Steam & Air Solutions (SAS) is the logical choice to meet the Navy’s current and future turbine-drive and shipboard compression requirements.
