Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level M&A associate with 4-8 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in Nashville, TN. This role focuses on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, emphasizing private equity-driven transactions. The position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-profile matters as part of a collaborative national platform. Duties Represent clients in complex corporate M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and joint ventures. Draft, negotiate, and communicate effectively throughout the transaction lifecycle. Manage multiple workstreams and interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and deal teams. Engage in business development and build long-term client relationships. Requirements Substantial experience in complex corporate M&A transactions. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience managing multiple workstreams and client interactions. Interest in business development and client relationship building. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.
