Full Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist

Job Overview Cone Health, a not-for-profit health care network serving the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, is seeking a Full Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for patients across a variety of surgical and procedural settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. As a key member of an interdisciplinary care team, you will conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans, administer all forms of anesthesia, monitor patients intraoperatively, and manage post‑anesthesia recovery. You will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, proceduralists, nursing staff, and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a safe perioperative experience. Responsibilities reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests as needed, obtaining informed consent, selecting and managing anesthetic agents and adjunct medications, securing and maintaining airways, managing hemodynamics and ventilation, responding quickly to changes in patient condition, and initiating emergency interventions when necessary. providing patient and family education, support enhanced recovery pathways, adhere strictly to evidence‑based practice guidelines and regulatory standards, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives within the department. Qualifications graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program, hold current CRNA and RN licensure (or be eligible for North Carolina licensure), and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications, with PALS preferred.
