As a Recruiter II, you will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, checking references, making offers, and conducting orientation for new employees. This role involves performing exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. You will rely on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, leading and directing the work of others as needed. A high degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and check references for potential candidates.
- Make job offers and conduct orientation for new employees.
- Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status.
- Lead and direct the work of others as necessary.
- Engage in intake sessions and build recruitment plans.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs.
- Reach out to candidates through various communication channels.
- Engage in dialogues and conversations with candidates and hiring managers.
- Share learnings and contribute to a fun and collaborative team environment.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in recruiting or a related area.
- Familiarity with recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience in high volume technical recruiting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and operate in a goal-driven environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with technical SDE recruiting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using ATS systems.
- Ability to conduct Boolean searches.
- Cold calling experience and scheduling phone screens.
- Experience in tech industry recruitment.
Work Environment
The work environment is collaborative, with ample individual desk time. The team is engaging and values open dialogue and sharing of learnings. The role involves working with both internal business customers and candidates, primarily through email and virtual communication. The team fosters a fun and dynamic atmosphere, and team members are encouraged to contribute and share their experiences.

This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
