Mammoth Disposal (Waste Connections) is hiring a Non Commercial Driver for local, home-daily routes in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This role is based in Mammoth, with occasional work out of our Bishop location.

Shuttle transportation available Employees working out of Bishop can take advantage of a company-paid shuttle that transports drivers between Bishop and Mammoth, making commuting easy and reliable.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• Start time: 5:30 AM
• 8–10 hour shifts (route-based)

What You'll Do

• Operate container delivery fork trucks on local routes
• Clean, pump, and deliver toilets and sinks
• Complete routes efficiently and safely
• Read route sheets and follow dispatcher instructions
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Handle physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50+ lbs)
• Provide professional customer service in local communities

Work Environment

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
• Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
• The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license. Willing to help employees obtain a Commercial Driver's License
• Clean driving record
• At least 1 year of experience related to duties specified
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
• Basic English communication skills

Location

• Based in Mammoth Lakes, CA
• Support as needed in Bishop, CA
• Shuttle transportation provided between Bishop and Mammoth
