We're looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-focused Bartender to join our opening team.

Position Summary
The Bartender is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by preparing high-quality cocktails, serving wine and beer, and delivering friendly, attentive service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about beverages, and thrives in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Serai's recipes and quality standards.
• Recommend cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage pairings to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Accurately process beverage orders and operate the POS system.
• Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow all state and federal laws for serving alcoholic beverages
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Assist servers with beverage service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Complete opening, closing, and side work duties.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; fine dining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. Mixology or hospitality certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items 
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet Kentucky's legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
