Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are currently in search of three Non-CDL 26ft Box Truck Drivers (OTR "Over The Road") meaning at least 2 weeks away from home at a time, or Local (DMV "Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia").**Clean driving record, reliable and consistent.**Must have Electronic Logging Device ("ELD").**Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.**Must be 25 years of age or over. Must drive with confidence, stay alert, and safe, and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.**Prior experience preferred, but not required.**Company vehicle will be provided.Responsibilities:Drive a 26 ft box truck for the companyMove cargo from one location to anotherHandle the business end of a deliveryDrive in all weather conditionsPalletize boxes, shrink wrap and move as necessaryRequirements:Valid "Class C" Driver's LicenseClean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)NO ACCIDENTS in the last three yearsAbility to travel out of state and prearranged overnight tripsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions in EnglishMust be able to lift and carry up to 50-pound boxesProperly secure freight for transit by using straps, pads, etc.Use daily electronic log books on tablets that are providedDaily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your truckMust be able to sit or stand for extended periods of timePersonality:Ability to COMMUNICATE effectivelyProblem Solver with a motivated attitudeHard worker with a "finish what I start" mentalityEmployment is contingent upon completing and passing background and MVR checks.Job Types: Full-Time ContractPay: $850.00 - $1,250.00 per weekBenefits:Company truckExperience level:1 yearApplication Question(s):Do you have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)?Why are you a good fit for this Over The Road driving position?Willingness to travel:100% (Required)Work Location: On the road\nCompany DescriptionFast pace and growing logistics company.
