Lead Data Engineer - Primary Care

Salary: $142,300 - 195,700 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree with at least 8 years of technical experience in data engineering, or a masters degree with at least 4 years of experience.
• We need strong expertise in Medallion architecture and Kimball dimensional modeling.
• We require experience integrating semantic and organizational data assets with leading AI platforms.
• We look for at least 2 years of project leadership experience.
• We require advanced experience working with large, complex data sets in sizable organizations.
• We need advanced SQL skills and experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable data platforms.
• We require at least 2 years of dbt experience.
• We expect proficiency in healthcare-related data.
• We require the ability to work within the EST time zone.
• A preferred qualification is an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• We prefer experience building analytics solutions across multiple healthcare segments.
• A preferred qualification is cloud certification in a leading cloud or AI platform such as Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• We oversee data processing architectures and solutions that transform structured and unstructured data into enterprise-scale insights.
• We ingest data from internal and external sources using cloud-native platforms and software development best practices.
• We develop tools using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data to convert information into insights that improve member outcomes.
• We make decisions on complex issues by analyzing variable factors and selecting the best course of action.
• We lead the development of our data warehouse using Medallion architecture and Kimball modeling to deliver optimized, business-ready data marts and star schemas for analytics.
• We lead our information architecture, establishing well-governed processes for metadata, reference data management, ontologies, and semantic layers.
• We collaborate with partners to create data governance frameworks and standards.
