About the Role

The Company is in search of a visionary and community-focused Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide comprehensive administrative services and strategic leadership. The CEO will be tasked with the overall execution of organization programs across multiple non-profit agencies, ensuring that they deliver maximum benefit to the community while upholding the highest standards of quality. This pivotal role demands an experienced leader who can balance firm policy administration with an open-minded, visionary approach to program development and community needs. Key responsibilities for the CEO include strategic leadership, board relations, operational and financial management, staff leadership and development, as well as serving as a community liaison and overseeing public relations. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in human services, business administration, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and 7-10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in human services or nonprofit management. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, board relations, compliance, and staff leadership. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage complex budgets and work with funding agencies. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of literature and trends regarding programs for people with disabilities and other service programs offered by the organization. The CEO will also be expected to travel to all agency facilities in Indiana and to Indianapolis on a frequent basis.
