Role Description The Project Estimator is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Jonesboro, AR, with a mix of on‑site work and some work from home. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include reviewing project plans and specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and developing budgets for construction projects. The Project Estimator will analyze materials, labor, and subcontractor costs, request and evaluate bids, and update estimates as project scopes evolve. This role collaborates with project managers, field supervisors, and clients to clarify requirements, provide accurate pricing information, and support proposal development. The Project Estimator will also help track cost performance, identify variances, and recommend adjustments to keep projects within budget and schedule. Qualifications Strong construction estimating and project estimation skills, including the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Cost management and budgeting skills, with experience developing detailed cost breakdowns and monitoring project financial performance. Effective communication skills for collaborating with project teams, vendors, and clients, and for presenting estimates and cost updates clearly. Experience with construction industry software or estimating tools, and proficiency with spreadsheets and basic office software. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building practices; prior field or project coordination experience is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations. Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site visits in Jonesboro, AR with remote tasks, and maintaining reliable self‑management.
