Registered Nurse, PRN

Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients Handle patient intake and discharge processes Assist in the vein clinic after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training Serve as Case Manager for assigned patients when required Perform initial nursing assessments and communicate findings to physicians Assess wound stage and measurements Document care plans and evaluate patient status against desired outcomes Identify patient-care situations requiring intervention Participate in quality improvement initiatives Educate patients or caregivers and advocate for patients Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties after completing Healogics hyperbaric training Perform hyperbaric safety director duties after completing required training Collaborate with healthcare providers, Wound Care Center Providers, the Program Director, and Medical Director Function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) when required Perform other duties as required Requirements Degree in Nursing (ADN) Current RN license in the state of practice, maintained throughout employment Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support) Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and time-management skills Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations Strong interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication, and presentation skills Customer service and follow-up skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Teaching skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work with others and in a team environment Ability to stay calm in all situations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Working knowledge of computerized nursing systems BSN preferred Medical Surgical, Home Health, or Wound Care Certification preferred Wound care experience preferred Ability to meet stated physical demands and work-environment conditions Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in patient care, wound assessment, and case management while effectively collaborating with healthcare teams.
