About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Cardiology MD in New York!

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist to join our client's team in New York for a 60-day assignment starting Jun 8, 2026. This role involves providing clinical supervision of stress tests, image interpretation, and direct patient interaction during 8am-5pm shifts. The chosen physician will play a crucial part in diagnosing and managing various cardiac conditions, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clinical supervision of stress tests.
• Image interpretation and diagnosis.
• Reporting and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with medical standards.
• Engage in direct patient interaction for consultations and follow-ups.
• Manage cases including suspected Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), known CAD assessment, pre-operative clearance, post-heart attack evaluation, and heart failure assessment.
• Perform Nuclear Stress Testing (SPECT), Cardiac PET, and PET/CT scans.
• Maintain an outpatient focus, with potential for inpatient involvement as needed.

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR system.
