Entry-Level Machine Operator / General Labor - Paint1st & 2nd Shift | $20-$25/HourLaunch Your Manufacturing Career with a Leading Employer

What You'll Do

• Prepare metal products for painting, packaging, and shipment.
• Clean and prep surfaces by removing grease, dirt, rust, and contaminants.
• Mask and protect areas that should not receive paint coatings.
• Hang parts on the paint line and ensure proper spacing for quality finishes.
• Remove finished parts from the paint line following coating and curing processes.
• Inspect painted products to ensure they meet quality standards with zero defects.
• Package, label, palletize, and stage finished products for shipping.
• Use hand tools and power tools to support production and packaging operations.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Work closely with teammates to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for up to 10 hours per day.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Basic experience using hand tools and power tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Paint line, paint room, powder coat, or paint preparation experience.
• Assembly line or machine operation experience.
• Previous quality inspection or quality control experience.
• Warehouse experience including picking, packing, and shipping.
• Interest in long-term career advancement opportunities.

Work EnvironmentYou'll work in a modern manufacturing facility alongside a team of approximately 25-30 coworkers. The environment is clean, organized, and production-focused, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Employees spend much of the shift standing, moving materials, operating equipment, and supporting paint line operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of East Peoria, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
