Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of full-time staff RN experience in a Neuroscience ICU at a Level I Trauma Center. Applicants must possess a valid Hawaii RN license and required certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Neuroscience ICU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' conditions and document findings accurately.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.
• Float to other areas of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required.
• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in a Neuroscience ICU at a Level I Trauma Center.
• CRRT experience is highly desired.

Other Information:

• Compliance requirements must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the start date.
• A maximum of 7 days of Requested Time Off (RTO) is allowed during the initial contract.
• All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission and throughout the duration of the contract.
