Full-Time Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon

We are seeking a full-time Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery to join our multispecialty medical group at South Texas Health System Clinics in Edinburg/McAllen, Texas. Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule / Hours: Standard clinical hours with trauma surgery call coverage

Call: Shared call for trauma reconstruction

Patient Volume: High-volume reconstructive and trauma surgery practice

Location: Edinburg/McAllen, Texas (Rio Grande Valley)

Practice Setting: Hospital-employed plastic surgery position within a Level I Trauma Center

Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary surgical team with practice development and marketing support

EMR / Technology: Comprehensive electronic medical record system

Responsibilities:

• Provide trauma and reconstructive plastic surgery care, including complex free flap procedures
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons, surgical specialists, and advanced practice providers
• Manage inpatient and outpatient surgical care and call coverage responsibilities
• Document surgical care accurately using EMR

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
• Experience with free flap reconstruction and Level I trauma requirements
• Active or eligible Texas medical license
• Spanish language skills not required
