Production Press Operator

Position Title: Production Press Operator Wage: $20.03 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm Operate heavy‑duty press equipment to produce industry‑leading steel wheels in a fast‑paced production environment. Responsibilities Operate press machines and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload steel components and finished products from production equipment. Monitor machine performance and identify quality or mechanical issues. Perform minor machine adjustments and notify supervisors of equipment concerns. Conduct visual and dimensional quality inspections throughout production. Read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and manufacturing specifications. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges to verify product quality. Record production information and complete required documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment. Stand and walk for 8–12‑hour shifts. Frequently bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Lift, push, and pull up to 75+ pounds regularly. Work in a hot, noisy manufacturing environment. Ability to safely operate machinery while maintaining awareness of surroundings. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating press equipment or other industrial production machinery. Experience using calipers, tape measures, gauges, or other precision measuring tools.
