Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Dallas requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• 1:1 patient ratio
• AM shift, working 4 days per week from 7:00am to 5:30pm
• On-call requirements include 1 day per week, 1 weekend every 6 weeks, and 1 week with no call
• 13-week travel assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• Mandatory flu vaccination required with no exemptions granted

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Delegate nursing interventions based on patient condition and staff competencies
• Facilitate patient and family education to support informed healthcare decisions
• Hospital-laundered scrubs provided
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
