Position Title: Substitute Athletic Trainers Reports To: Building Principal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed Effective Date: 9/2/2025 Salary Range: $175.00 per diem Link to Current Contract and Salary Guides: Health Benefits: None provided Other Coverage: None provided Position Summary: The above substitute Athletic Trainers positions are available for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualifications: Athletic Trainer Certification Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrate strong leadership ability Required criminal history background check, with fingerprinting and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. Required physical and drug test offered free of charge Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description. Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System. Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy. Terms of Employment: Per diem pay.
