Midlevel Corporate MampA Associate

Job OverviewA law firm seeks an experienced midlevel associate to join their Corporate M&A team in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of Corporate M&A experience, with a preference for private equity transaction experience. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and related documents. Manage and close M&A and related transactions. Conduct legal due diligence. Advise clients on general corporate and business matters. Work with partnership agreements, joint ventures, and LLC operating agreements. Handle representation and warranty insurance underwriting issues. Requirements Three to five years of Corporate M&A experience. Private equity transaction experience preferred. Strong academic credentials. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
