Currently looking for an experienced  Physical Therapist Assistant to fill an opening with an outpatient  setting located around the King City, CA area. Interested candidates should at least have 1 year of Physical Therapy experience, an Associate of Science degree, and have graduated from an accredited LPTA program. Interested candidate should also have a valid CA PTA license, or already have started the process of obtaining them. 

Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistance experience is preferred 
• Active CA PTA license, or eligible to obtain
• Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
• Outpatient Setting
• Day shifts Monday - Friday
• No weekends; No holidays

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

• Plan and implement treatment interventions according to patient plan of care
• Documents daily record of patient’s condition, adapting treatment plans accordingly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Communication of patient progress with Physical Therapist, patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
• Patient and family education of patient progress to include skilled recommendation on AE/DME and community support where available and when appropriate
• Ability to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and lift/assist patients as needed
