Local Contract Nurse RN - CVICU - $60-63 per hour

Job Title CVICU Registered Nurse (Cardiac Care) Location Towson, MD Setting CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) Pay Range $59.54 - $62.52 per hour Schedule 36‑hour nights (3×12‑hour, 19:00 – 07:30) Contract Length Start date 07/20/2026 (ongoing assignment) Candidate Type Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available Requirements 2 years of experience as an RN MD RN license, BLS, CPI, and ACLS Preferred: NIH, OCN, and TCNN certifications Valid RN license in Maryland; willing to obtain Maryland licensure if not already licensed Willingness to float to MSICU as needed On‑call 24‑32 hours per rotating 8‑week schedule Responsibilities Manage post‑op cardiac surgery patients, including those on multiple inotropic medications, active management of cardiac output, and patients with hemodynamic instability. Monitor patients with complex diagnoses such as CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR, and STEMI/NSTEMI, ensuring optimal care during your night shift. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide continuous patient assessment.
