Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as a school psychologist, working with elementary students from pre-K through 5th grade. This contract opportunity begins August 6, 2026, and runs through May 20, 2027, with the chance to participate in a preparatory meeting on July 29th if available. The hybrid work schedule allows you to split your time between remote work (two days per week) and engaging directly with students and staff on site (three days per week), offering the flexibility and balance ideal for today’s professionals.

You’ll offer critical support for students, including those with behavioral needs, collaborating with educators and families to foster a positive and inclusive educational environment. Although caseload numbers are yet to be finalized, your expertise will ensure these young students receive the guidance and interventions they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current School Psychologist license required
• Previous experience with pre-K – 5th grade strongly preferred
• Skills supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges
• Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Familiarity with special education laws and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student observations, evaluations, and assessments
• Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation
• Participate in collaborative meetings and ongoing professional development
