Veterinary Technician Shift Lead - Overnight

Veterinary Technician Shift Lead – Overnight Compensation: $29/hr – $41/hr + $2/hr shift lead differential, $3/hr overnight differential, and $2/hr weekend differential. Bonus Opportunity: $10,000 total.

• 5,000 Sign‑On Bonus
• 2,500 Retention Bonus at 12 months
• 2,500 Retention Bonus at 24 months (subject to eligibility and bonus agreement terms)

Job Purpose Provide primary point of contact for all technical questions, comments, concerns, and issues, managing technical staff to ensure efficient operation during overnight shifts. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee shift staff to ensure excellent work product. Review patient and doctor issues, enabling expedient resolution. Assign patients to appropriate groups based on case severity and staff skill level. Update full patient census forms and patient board during shift. Update triage board as needed. Ensure proper rounds during patient transfers. Act as primary resource manager for technical staff within the Emergency Department. Train staff on technical tasks as directed by the Technician Manager. Serve as primary key‑holder or Cubex resource as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a lead/supervisor role. Strong teamwork, service, compassion, integrity, and quality orientation.
