Bus Driver

School Bus Driver NeededTrinity Catholic High School in Ocala, home of the Celtics, has an opening for a bus driver for the 2022 - 23 school year. Driver will pick up and drop off students along an established route. Also includes field trips and athletic events.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This job class is responsible for the safe operation of a school bus and for ensuing the safety of student passengers while meeting established bus schedules.Drives a school transportation vehicle within a prescribe routes(s) in accordance with time schedule; picking up and discharging students at designated stops.Transport students and teachers on filed trips to various locations; planning necessary route(s) and stops as needed.Conduct safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily.Services buses with gas, diesel fuel, and oil checks and when necessary fills tires and batteries.Maintains cleanliness of vehicle to ensure operating condition.Attends driver training programs to maintain current knowledge of Motor Vehicle Code and the Education Code as it applies to the operation of vehicles.Washes bus as needed.Performs related duties required.Requirements:Must have valid CDL with a P and S endorsement and a safe driving record.Experience preferred.
