Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location: Dayton, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days | 5×8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in an operating room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Apply pediatric nursing knowledge to support a patient population requiring specialized care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including smoke-free campus requirements
• Participate in PALS training provided upon arrival

Required Qualifications:

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Pediatric experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications must be current
• At least one recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a pediatric operating room environment
• Familiarity with perioperative protocols and surgical team collaboration in a pediatric setting
