Registered Nurse Ambulatory

Broward Health North

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients. Assesses patient's condition administers prescribed drugs provides treatments observes patients' progress records pertinent observations and reports reactions to drugs and treatments. Assists physicians with examinations and prepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use.

Education:

• Associate
• Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing.

Experience:

• Nursing experience or clinical rotation working within a similar healthcare setting.

Credentials:

• Florida Registered Nurse-LICENSE
• Basic Life Support - either through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Other information:

• ACHA Level II Required
