Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:


1. Inspect company truck and complete OSHA required check list.
2. Inspect and operate towmotor - complete inspection check list.
3. Load and unload all freight as required.
4. Make delivery of materials and products to all Donsco facilities, as well as customers in immediate area.
5. Transport cores and core baskets between facilities.
6. See that Mt. Joy samples are delivered to CMM Room.
7. Perform paperwork.
8. Perform the duties of Shipping Coordinator and/or Shipping/Receiving/Driving as required.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Maintain a clean, orderly, and neat work area and vehicle.
11. Adheres to 6s and safety procedures.
12. Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS (BACKGROUND/SKILL/TRAINING):


1. High school diploma or GED is preferred.
2. Must have CDL
3. Detail oriented and ability to multi task.
4. Demonstrates general mathematical skills
5. Read and understand work orders.
6. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills; Able to work independently or as a team.
7. Reads and understands English.
8. Able to lift, push or pull up to 100lbs routinely.
9. Able to work over-time as required.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Set hours and local runs only.

The work is primarily performed in a non-temperature controlled; smoke-free manufacturing environment. Noise level is moderate to loud. The individual is exposed to extremes in temperature on a regular basis. Employee is required to wear designated PPE at all times while in the plant. Work may be performed near equipment with moving parts or require use of some chemicals and resigns.
