As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Credential Verification in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security supervisor/manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
